Thinking about voting for the Sir Julius Vogel awards? Time to get reading!

The 2016 Sir Julius Vogel Awards finalists have been announced and I’m thrilled to see my name listed alongside a collection of amazing speculative fiction writers. Brave’s Journey is one of the finalists for best youth novel!

There are a heap of familiar names on the finalist list and I’m stoked to name many of them friends. I’m so proud of all the amazing, brave, talented writers out there. It takes courage, determination and true grit to sit down, engage the imagination and churn out the words and I’d like to congratulate everyone on their well-deserved place on this list.

I’d also like to encourage everyone to vote!

As the SFFANZ website says:

The Sir Julius Vogel awards are fan voted awards for various endeavours in the science fiction, fantasy or horror fields. Professional nominations can be for novels, short stories, art and others. Fan nominations can be for fanzine, writing, art, Services to Fandom, Services to Science Fiction and more. Voting on the Sir Julius Vogel Awards takes place before and at the National Science Fiction convention each year. You are eligible to vote if you are a member of SFFANZ, OR a member of the National Science Fiction convention that year. You are only entitled to one vote, even if you belong to both.

So here’s what you do:
